| Juana Briones PTA welcomes you. PTA is an advocacy organization dedicated to promoting the well-being of all children. Juana Briones parents, teachers and staff agree that parental involvement in education is a critical element for success in school. The PTA at Juana Briones is the link for staff and parents to work hand in hand to support all Juana Briones students. This close working relationship between the staff and families is focused on providing a meaningful educational experience.
Parent Involvement National PTA has identified 5 areas of parent involvement that lead to greater student success. Briones PTA offers opportunities to participate in each of these 5 ways: I . Communication- Banner, e-news, parent-teacher conferences, informal interactions II. Parent Education- Home/School Connection Banner insert, speakers & programs III. Enriched Student Learning- Support aides, art, science, library IV. Community Resources- PTA Council, Wardrobe, YCS, police, city V.
